I removed something by mistake

Photos and videos on iPhone or iPad

Removed items stay in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days. Open Photos, scroll down to Utilities and tap Recently Deleted. Unlock it if asked, tap Select, choose the items and tap Recover.

Files on Mac

Ozoda moves files to the Trash. Open the Trash from the Dock, select the item and choose Put Back from the File menu. Once the Trash has been emptied, files are gone unless you have a Time Machine backup or another copy.

Contacts

Ozoda shows a summary of what a merge adds before it merges contacts, and it cannot bring a merged contact back. If you use iCloud Contacts, Apple's iCloud Data Recovery may be able to restore an earlier version of your contacts. You find it in Account Settings on icloud.com.

My storage did not change after cleaning

On iPhone and iPad, removed photos wait in Recently Deleted and still count as used space. Ozoda shows two numbers for this reason: what moved, and what has been freed. To get the space back now, open Photos, scroll down to Utilities, tap Recently Deleted, then tap Select and Delete All. After that the items cannot be recovered. If iCloud Photos is on, they are removed from all your devices.

On Mac, files sit in the Trash until you empty it. Choose Empty Trash from the Finder menu.

Manage, cancel or restore Pro

  • Cancel or change the plan. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and choose Ozoda. On Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings and Subscriptions. Ozoda's own Settings also has a Manage Subscription button.
  • Restore a purchase. In Ozoda, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Sign in with the Apple Account that bought Pro. One Pro works on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
  • Lifetime. A Lifetime purchase does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel. Restore Purchases brings it back on another device that uses the same Apple Account.
  • Refunds. Apple decides refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Family Sharing. Whether Pro can be shared with your family group is shown on the app's App Store page and on the purchase sheet.

Plans and prices are on the App Store page. Apple shows the price and the renewal date before you confirm.

Change what Ozoda can access

  • Photos on iPhone or iPad. Open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Photos, then Ozoda. Choose Selected Photos, Full Access or None. Ozoda works with Selected Photos and tells you how many photos it can see.
  • Contacts. Settings, Privacy & Security, Contacts, Ozoda.
  • Notifications. Settings, Notifications, Ozoda. Alerts are optional and local to your device.
  • Folders on Mac. Ozoda can open only the folders you chose. You can remove or grant a folder again from the access sheet in Ozoda.
  • Full Disk Access. Ozoda does not need it and never asks for it.

The Mac app asks me to choose folders

Apps from the Mac App Store run in a sandbox, so an app can see only the folders you give it. Ozoda asks through the standard open panel and remembers your choice. A scan never goes outside those folders. If you allow your Library folder, Ozoda can find caches and logs there. If you skip it, those items are simply not listed.

Requirements

iPhone and iPad: iOS 18 or iPadOS 18, or later. Mac: macOS 15 or later.
